To what point and purpose?

Once upon a time, in a distant land, there was a young girl with nothing to do.
So, she decided to start a blog.
Would anyone read it?
Would anyone care?
Probably not.
But that same scenario plays out for millions of bloggers every day.
They blog, tell their stories, and say what's important to them; whether or not anyone else listens. It's all in how we market ourselves, and our stories; which means that advertisement is the best way to make your thoughts and opinions known, or get answers to life's troubling questions. Some people [a.k.a. Moi] just aren't very good at marketing.
But,none-the-less, it feels better to get things off our chests sometimes, and maybe, just maybe, we'll find someone else to empathize with us, or better yet: argue with us. No one (especially men) likes to be told that they're wrong, but it's always better to see the other side of any story, especially if your side isn't the one with the 'happy ending.'
So, good, bad, pointless, or prophetic, it's bound to make just about anyone feel better if they simply "Say what [they] need to say."

This is like Katie's constant mentioning of the importance of embellishing aspects of writing to make it more marketable. It's almost necessary to do it.
